About Me
Who I Am
Hi! This is my third year in Big Walnut and I couldn't be more excited. In all I have over ten years of teaching experience! I'm excited this year because of all of the possibilities! We'll be designing this class as the year goes on because we want students to take an active role in choosing what they learn.Â
Although this is only my third year teaching in the district, I've been an Eagle for many years. My wife and I live in Sunbury with our two young sons. Some of you may know my wife from HSE! She also teaches in the district.

Robotics Club Applications
Thank you to everyone that applied! We had a ton of wonderful candidates. Mrs. Austin and Mr. Keep will be making final selections this week and will send a letter home with the students that made the team by September 5th!
Donations Needed
Want to help our STEM class with supplies? Tired of throwing away things that could have been used for students to learn? Take a look at this list to see if there is anything you would be willing to donate. Right now we could really use paper towel rolls.
Welcome Back to School
It seems like summer keeps getting shorter and shorter! I know I found it great to spend time with family, try new things, and just relax. Now that the time has come to start school again, I am excited to meet all of our new fifth graders and to catch up with our returning sixth graders.
