Fifth Grade

Welcome to Our Class

Fifth Grade STEM is all about the engineering design process! This is the process that students will use for the next two years in my class and focuses our work on a systematic process to produce high-quality work! Students will have the opportunity to use the design process to engineer a solution to some real-world problems. We will also use the design process to code using various programs including code.org, scratch, Lego EV3 Mindstorms, and Sphero. For our last unit this year we will focus on some of the many different camera angles and their uses in film and photography.
